The weekend before Easter, our neighborhood hosted an Easter Egg Hunt. Even though Maxwell is not old enough to participate, we were looking forward to going. I even had Maxwell wear his Easter ears! Unfortunately, it was drizzily and rainy that morning. We walked down to the pool area where the event was happening but since we were a few minutes late, there was not much to see since the kids generally find the eggs pretty quickly. Also, none of the neighbors we knew were there so we just decided to take a walk around the block and head home. Next year will be much more fun since Maxwell will get to hunt for eggs!
The Easter bunny did come this year, though. He brought Maxwell some blocks and an Easter book!
We spent Easter morning with Mike's mom and sister and family and the afternoon with my dad and his family. It was a beautiful and fun day filled with family and great food. Couldn't ask for more!
Maxwell lasted in his cute Easter outfit about an hour before he had a diaper blowout! Glad I thought to get pictures of him in it early rather than later!
