Maxwell is finally sitting up (back in July!). The one milestone I could not wait to get to is sitting up. He always looked so bored laying down playing. He was a later sitter, the only one in his class not sitting up for awhile. When my mom was here for July 4th, though, we had a mini boot camp and had him sitting up every moment we could. That was really the turning point. Since then he's gotten stronger and stronger and can now sit without assistance and catch himself if he starts to fall. He has so much fun playing now! He is still not crawling officially, but he does do an army crawl and is starting to pull himself up a bit. I'm perfectly fine with him not crawling and will savor this time where he can sit and play and not move to far.
