I promise I will post Hunt for the Home - Parts 2 and 3 soon! Since my blog is public, I didn't want anything I wrote to jinx the process of getting our new home!
I will share some updates regarding our current home, though. We were supposed to close last Friday and we were so close to doing so until someone didn't do their job. Our buyer went with Bank of America as his lender and we were told from the beginning that Bank of America always closes late! About a week and a half ago everything was looking on schedule and then last Wednesday we find out that we are waiting on one piece of paper and that they didn't think we could close on Friday. They tell us that they are sure we can close the next Wednesday. Well, it is now Tuesday evening and I've been told that the guy who gave the ok is on vacation today and didn't send any of the paperwork. So now we aren't sure when we are closing!!!
We are supposed to close on our new house on Friday so we really need our house to close tomorrow! Once both houses close, I'll share the posts about how we made our decision on the final house we chose.
