Maxwell's Nursery

I'm really happy with the way Maxwell's nursery came out. It doesn't really have a theme. I knew I wanted a green dresser and I also based it around the bedding that I found on Land of Nod (check out the brown gingham sheet and cute blue and green crib skirt).

  • The crib and dresser were made by my dad. These pieces turned out beautiful and will be in our family forever! The green dresser is exactly what I had envisioned!
  • Above the crib is the Star Wars artwork that Mike picked out. When he requested that the room have Star Wars art, I requested that it come from Etsy!
  • The Noah's art print was made by my mom's college friend, John Holiday. I love his artwork and have several of his prints. I've had this one for awhile and couldn't wait to use it in a nursery at some point.
  • The small rocking chair belonged to my mom when she was a child and then me. I can't wait to get a picture of Maxwell in it!
  • I got the idea to put Maxwell's name on the wall from these letters at Land of Nod. I bought some fun paper at Hobby Lobby and found some letter templates online and then hung with twine.
  • The stork was made by my good friend Michelle's dad. He does beautiful woodwork!
  • And finally, one of the first things we bought when we found out it was a boy and decided on a name was the "shoot for the moon" print. I loved the saying and want Maxwell to always remember it.
His room is really one of my most favorites in our home!
