Maxwell's First Wedding

Maxwell attended his very first wedding a couple weekends months ago. We were invited to family friends of ours wedding in Burnet at a beautiful log cabin resort on Lake LBJ. We took Friday off of work so we could spend the day with our friends (Annie, Aaryn, Piper and Seraphine) that were in town from China. It was Aaryn's sister who got married. We stayed with Aaryn and Annie and Aaryn's parents in their cabin, which happened to be the main cabin, where most of the activities occurred.

Friday was a beautiful day, although only a high of upper 70s so too cold to swim :( We hung out on the grounds, watching the lake activity and taking Maxwell on his first swing ride.

Friday night was the Rangers and Red Sox (the groom is from Boston) themed tailgate dinner. Saturday night was the wedding and reception. Maxwell did pretty well considering he was up past his bedtime both nights. He's such a trooper!

Mike had baby duty after the reception ended so I could go to the after party with Annie. As Annie put it, we were two wild moms out for a night.

We had a lot of fun and enjoyed being able to spend quality time with our good friends!
